IPL shortlists Cuttack for new team

The governing council of IPL has selected ten cities including silver city Cuttack to float a tender for the formation of a new team. The move followed the termination of agreement with Hyderabad-based Deccan Chargers (DC) which is facing financial crunch. The other new cities are - Ahemdabad, Visakhapatnam, Dharamsala, Indore, Jamshedpur, Nagpur, Kanpur (Greater Noida), Rajkot and Ranchi.
